Government organisations, such as the Agricultural and Processed Food Export Development Authority (APEDA), are responsible for developing and promoting exports. A scheduled product can be developed with the assistance of this organisation, by receiving information, and by following guidelines.

Schedule products exports are the primary objective of APEDA. Payment of such fees as may be prescribed for registration as exporters of scheduled products. Providing financial assistance to promote the development of industries associated with scheduled products.
Process of APEDA
An applicant seeking registration under APEDA must submit the application form within one month of starting his or her business. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, the authority is the only one who can extend the registration deadline for exporters of schedule products. The authority will issue a RegistrationCumMembership-Certificate (RCMC) once the application and payment have been received.

For registration, you will need the following documents:
- Application form duly filled out and signed.
- An import-export code is issued by the Department of General Foreign Trade.
- An official signature on the bank certificate.
- The latest two-month bank statement of the firm’s account.
- Tax department issued PAN copy with self-certification.
- There has been a cancellation of the check.
- An amount of Rs. 5000 can be paid in cash or by DD or Pay Order (credit/debit cards) in favour of APEDA directed to the specific APEDA office where the application for seeking RCMC has been submitted.
